The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN) says it will line up a series of activities in 2025 to bring modern protocol practices to Nigerians from various sectors.

Speaking at a cocktail reception in honour of the Superintendent of Naval Dockyard Limited, Rear Admiral Abolaji Abolade Orederu at an event titled “The Renaissance of Protocol in Nigeria last weekend at the Naval Dockyard Limited in Lagos, the Executive President of ACPPN, Mr. Micheal Ikinbor, said that as the new year approaches, the association will be engaging in several collaborations to sensitize Nigerians on modern protocol practices compared to the traditional ways that society is used to.

He said: “We will be organising a major conference which will be attended by various sectors of society including but not limited to various embassies and high commissions in the country, the public and private sectors, individuals and many others.

“We are using the year 2025 to mobilize and sensitise multiple stakeholders about what we are doing. We are also bringing together some of the disparate groups of protocol practitioners under one roof. By the special grace of God, the year 2025 will be a very exciting year for us. Even though our executive is one year old, expect a lot from us,” Ikinbor said.
