Ace broadcast journalist, Nicholas Anyameme, has been honoured by the Lagos Business School (LBS) after completing the Enterprise Development Course (EDC) at the prestigious institution.
Anyameme, assistant secretary, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, was among the students of the CEM 63 at EDC. He was the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of CEM 63.
Anyameme and his coursemates were presented with scrolls and certificates, as well as the induction of over 94 Life Members of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) drawn from various CEM cohorts.
Speaking to journalists after the induction ceremony, Anyameme, a sports analyst and newscaster at Inspiration FM, has words of advice for Nigerian journalists who he urged to endeavor to contribute their quota to national development in alignment with the current government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s drive toward achieving a 1-trillion-dollar economy.
He wanted Nigerian journalists to scale up, think outside the box, and acquire additional skills beyond the core profession of journalism.
According to him, personal development and diversification remain essential for media practitioners who wish to stay relevant and impactful.
