Supporters of former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, believe their principal’s success stories as an accomplished leader with lots of achievements to show for it, have given Tinubu an edge over other contestation ahead of the presidential primary of the Nigeria’s ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
This is no doubt the reason one of the support groups rooting for Tinubu to become the next Nigerian President after the general elections coming up in 2023, Tinubu Hope for Nigeria Vanguard, celebrated the National Leader of APC during their inaugural meeting on Monday, 3 May 2022 in Akure, Ondo State.
According to the group which is peopled by professionals from diverse backgrounds, Tinubu is a leader who has passion for people, a reason many Nigerians have confidence and trust him.
Members of Tinubu Hope of Nigeria Vanguard during their unveiling at NBA Secretariat at Oke Eda, Alagbaka, GRA, Akure declared that they are more than ready to mobilise for Tinubu to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.
“We have little works to do because Tinubu is already a marketable product who is well known for his politics of human development. In this race, only Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu can stop himself and for us at Tinubu Hope for Nigeria Vanguard we are not in the business to consider any alternative. To be frank, our option A to Z remains Tinubu: this is our demand. We strongly believe that if the presidential primary of APC is free and fair, our Tinubu will win,” said Barrister Tunji Osho, one of the leaders of the group.
Bar. Osho reiterated that majority of the members of the group are core professionals who are not exposed to the rudiments and antics of Nigerian politics, adding that these give them the opportunity to talk to people and the people easily believe them.
“We are professionals who have studied Tinubu and find in him a genuine renaissance; a new rebirth, who has the capability and the capacity to navigate Nigeria and her people out of the present woes,” said.
Corroborating Bar. Osho, another leader of Tinubu Hope for Nigeria Vanguard, Mr. Bode Famose, disclosed that what many Nigerians failed to realise is that “Tinubu had started what is currently at play in his life 30 years ago when he had been building people. He has taken time to prepare for this task and I must say that most of his action were unconsciously being done without him knowing that it would count for good for him. I must confess, this is a quality of a good and dependable leader.

“We are supporting Tinubu based on his antecedents and pas records. We can see how he had been able to turn Lagos State into mega city, and put in place a developmental plan that every successive governor of the state builds on. Nigerians have confidence and have trust in his judgement.
Convener of the group, Bar. Rotimi Williams said that the Tinubu Hope for Nigeria Vanguard has its tentacles spread across the country, adding that they chose Ondo State for the inauguration of the group to begin their mobilisation at home.
